We had to "take the ride" to Hasbro Emergency Room this morning. Jeannette slipped and landed flat on her back. We have been very lucky not to go "for the ride" for a while but we are very blessed to have HCH so close to us and be able to take care of Jeannette when she fractures. She has a compression fracture but did not need a brace or medication. Thank You to ALL the staff this morning/afternoon that looked after our little hummingbird. You are the best!!!
Nurses and Dr's were just terrific and sooo friendly!! We gave out hugs when we left (and were there only a little over 24hrs). Our 8yr old had robotic laparoscopic kidney surgery. Dr Liza Aguiar and team were fantastic and very knowledgable. Thank you Hasbro!!
Came last night, got transferred from Newport hospital. They did an ultrasound on my daughter to check her ovaries but was told that I would have to wait till morning for the appendicitis one cause they don't do them after 5pm. I was told they opened at 8am and they would do it right away. At 8:20 I asked and was told it would take another hour to an hour and a half. After I complained they took her in 10 mins. My son was discharged from PICU today after 3 days. Everyone at Hasbro was amazing from the time he arrived in the ER through the entire stay. The critical care staff was amazing and explained everything that was happening as well as the ER doctors and nurses. Everyone we encountered was amazingly helpful and caring. I can't say enough good things...even to the maintenance man who dropped what he was doing to take my husband and I to the parking office when we couldn't find it.
