I came in during Mother’s Day with my in laws. And would you believe it, our server was Dana! She took such good care of me at a previous restaurant, and again this time too. You got yourselves a gem! Such a kind and unique individual. I got biscuits and gravy. Everyone else had the pancakes, frittata, and the fish and chips. Everything was outstanding! The crème brûlée, and Tiramisu were to die for. I forced myself to save half my tiramisu so I could take some home for a snack later. The capri cosmo was perfect, and from wh... read more
We had an amazing meal on the lovely front porch; (I was with 2 other women on a Girls' Weekend in Hendersonville, and for our last evening, we wanted a semi-fancy dinner to celebrate our friendship.) We shared the Paella, the local lake Trout and the very-english Fish & chips. The meal was completed with a local-grown blueberry & rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream. The service was effective and friendly. We would highly recommend dining there!
We made reservations and were seated right away. We ordered the Paella Valencia, the Fish and Chips and the Lake Trout. All were outstanding! We sat out on the porch and enjoyed a lovely evening people and car watching. The Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely eat there again!!
Dinner with friends on the lovely front porch at Harvey’s at the Henderson, a small hotel built in 1919. This building is one of the last surviving examples of the Classical Revival style in this area and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The interior is decorated with classic film memorabilia. We had a great dinner: bacon-wrapped artichoke hearts, their famous onion soup, sea scallops, venison bolognese, river trout, and steak aux poive. We had a nice chat with the owners, Michael (the chef) and Jeanne (front ... read more
Perfect early Mother's Day dinner! The hoisin ribs were to die for. We also loved the Brie and the bacon wrapped artichoke appetizers. The chef and owner is British and says the fish and chips are fully authentic with cod flown in weekly for the weekend dinner! We will definitely return! Thank you, Chef Michael, for an amazing evening!
