Not our first visit to this lovely establishment. We were seated quickly but our waitress was tied up with other tables. The hostess, who seemed to be new, left us seated and didn't inform us about our waiter. It was a tiny stumble in an always excellent meal. My DH and I had the Pad Thai with shrimp. It was divine! Our daughter had the drunken chicken. She finished it all and was very satisfied. I need to try it on our next visit!! We brought home carrot cake and it was moist and delicious!
Rudest service ever. Got seated and after 20 minutes no one even acknowledged us to get our orders. There was hardly anyone there so it was not as if they were busy. I told them why I was leaving and not even an apology.
Super bummed. We’ve wanted to try this place for awhile and it was a big let down after reading all the positive reviews. They weren’t real busy and we still waited 50 mins for our food. There was 6 of us and none of the food came out together. One person was almost done by the time my food came out. I ordered a bison burger and they forgot to put cheese on it, no big deal easy fix. Was in last night to hear Anne Hawe we had a fantastic meal with wine and we even had the peanut butter cake......oh so good!!
Food is always fresh but the service is slow. We were seated and had to ask if we had a server. We ordered burgers and beer, easy because 3 orders were exactly the same. We waited 15 minutes and had to ask for our beers. We thought maybe we were supposed to get them ourselves but our order just got skipped over. The burgers were different and delicious and we will return. I think we will sit it at the bar the next time for better service.
My new favorite place!! Great food, wonderful service and a cute setting surrounded by antique stores and darling little shops.
