We drove 3 hours from Iowa to Harvest Auto & Machinery and had the best experience. 100x better than any of the 10+ dealerships we visited in DSM. The guys were super accommodating, kind, and funny (except for Dan, he’s not funny). The gave us the best trade in on our truck and my husband got his dream truck without breaking the bank!! After we signed all of our paperwork the guys invited us to have lunch with them. I can’t say enough good things about them!!
They advertised my truck as pristine and restored bodywork. The salesman had a transmission issue reviewed from the test drive and said the was nothing wrong, but the torque converter had to be replaced. Now the body is rusting under the paint on the passenger rear quarter panel. They complete shoddy body work, promise to fix it through messenger and then blow you off. 4 weeks later and still no appointment with their body shop as promised. They are as dishonest as they come.
I bought a truck from these guys, I highly recommend them. Adam was my salesman, he stands behind his word. I’m a mechanic and very picky about buying used cars. After I had bought the truck he reimbursed me for a part I had bought and paid for a shop visit, a questionable car dealer would of never done that. I got to know the owners through my transaction and found them to be extremely ethical. Adam is a professional through and through. I’ll be recommending them to anyone looking for a used vehicle.
