In 1964, when Harold Hartzler made the decision to stop using chemical pesticides and herbicides on his farm, it was not a marketing decision. He did it because he had witnessed the effect of chemical run-off on a neighboring farm after a storm. It was then that Harold decided to farm only "as Nature Intended". My husband grew up on a dairy farm and this is his preferred milk. I grew up on watered down grocery store milk and would choose another beverage of given a choice. But will drink Hartzler's because of it's natural sweetness. I just tried their egg nog and was blown away. I normally avoid egg nog at all cost but their milk is so good I gave their nog a try and loved it.
