I was traveling for work and got to stop at a great little place to eat. HARTFORD STEAK CO. TAVERN in South Dakota. The owner of the restaurant gave us seating as soon as we arrived and was very nice and very polite. They offer steaks cuts as big as 27oz, and 32oz prime rib, both very reasonable prices. The salads we got come out within 5 minutes and the steak and loaded potato (as my side) came out within 15 mins. They tasted delicious and had great flavor. Outstanding steaks attentive staff well coached that work as a team. food prep A#1 everything cooked perfectly as ordered. While not advertised or on the menu their Aujus is gluten free. I was shown a comtainer of their base and no gluten. Be aware food cook on same line as standard fare but cross contamination is minimal. Great opportunity to quality food.
We LOVE Hartford Steak House! Whether it's date night or we're with a big group of people-- the food and accommodating staff are consistently amazing!
