I enjoyed every class I took at Hartford Seminary and feel deeply changed for the better as a result of my time there. They also offer amazing lectures and educational events that are open to the public. My favorite part, though, has been the people. It is a caring community of compassionate, curious, religiously diverse, respectful, and intelligent people from around the world. I am so blessed to call it my alma mater.
Hartford Seminary was a serious growth sprout in my life from 2004 to 2010! I learned so much, and met scholars, and students from all over the world! It was so much a part of my life, that I continue there as a member of the board! I love Hartford Seminary!!!
I was blessed to attend between 2006 to 2011. The scholars of the seminary taught me how to explore and excavate while embracing difference as a means of deepening my own faith. The dialogical model of each classroom was an essential laboratory of the refinement of my work in the fields of chaplaincy. I am so grateful to God for this place and pray for its continued success.
My parents , both ordained congregational ministers met her at Hartford Theological in 1932. My father Rev. C.Wyndham EVANS MA ( Edin ) STM . He was awarded a Scholarship from Newcollege , Edinburgh to Newton , Andover for his STM then on to Hartford . My mother Rev. Marie Jensen was an ordained Congregational minister there in 1932 and returned to Scotland with my papa as his new American bride and his first charge in Peebles , Scotland .
