Two years ago, Hartford Hospital along with my deceased donor, gave me the gift of life. As I sit here writing this review, there are so many dynamic and talented individuals whom I have met on this journey, my heroes, inspiration and hope for the future. The doctors listen, they never are too bothered by questions and concerns. The nurses will always call you back the same day and if they do not have an answer, they will research it or find the person who can answer it. They don’t return calls. It’s dificult to schedule an appointment because they don’t return calls. Every time I called, I had to leave a voicemail and no return calls after repeated calls. I’m in the process of filing a written complaint with Hartford Hodpital

If you get into the transplant program at Harvard Hospital, your truly blessed. The resumes are impressive, as well as overall care for patience they take care of your mind, your body, your spirit, everything I had a transplant about a month ago and it’s not all wine and roses there’s been some tough days after, but one day at a time and I’m happy this is my team

Very difficult to schedule an appointment here. I have had to call back on numerous occasions to finally get an appointment. My provider had to fax over my referral twice and after 3 phone calls they finally located it. The coordinators seem to be multi-tasking and I was put "on hold" 6 times during one phone call. Was not able to get an appointment until 4 months out despite my provider requesting that I be seen asap. Hartford Healthcare system needs a better way to handle patient phone calls and scheduling.
