Hospital One night I had to go here at around 11:00 P.M. there was one other person in the waiting room and it took over an hour to be seen. When they finally admitted me the room I was in was never cleaned out. The only positive was the doctor! The doctor was fantastic. He did not make me feel nervous at all.
My son was hit by a car while driving a motorcycle and taken to Hartford Hospital (my choice). He was taken to the trauma room. After a "quick" xray to his wrist and ankle and a "quick" CT scan to both, they came back with no injuries, just the obvious, stitches. One nurse even commented "if you can walk (with crutches) you can go home". Keep in mind he only has one hand he can use. That was a no go! What a scam. Insisting to take a person’s temperature on the forehead and not having an extra hand temperature, on hand, for those who want to have the temperature reading on their wrist. We all do our own research and are capable to decide what is best for you us and our body and we know the effect that the forehead temperature screening does to a person. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!!!
I have always gone to other hospitals in the New Haven area but I live in Meriden and had an awful accident and went to Hartford hospital I have got to say that this hospital is by far the most compassionate understanding and just attentive to all my needs and it just blows my mind my doctor listens to everything and she tells me everything that's going on as far as my surgeries cuz I've had a few I crushed my right arm and everyone is just wonderful here I wish I could do for them but they do for me on a daily basis if I ne... read more
RecommendedI had my first child here at the age of 19! The nurses were amazing! I had my second child in 2018 at 33 years old and hands down the best place to have a child. Being so close to Childrens put my heart at ease. My youngest was in the Nicu seeing as how he was born at 36 weeks. I can't say enough good things about this hospital. especially because I live over an hour away and drove by 3 hospitals on my way there and I would do it again!
Don't use them for COVID testing! pretty sure they lost my sample at this point! Seriously...public health emergency they have been dealing with for months and the best answer I get out of them is "I don't know!"
Absolutely disgusting your lack of concern for covid protocols. Complete disregard for elderly people.
Today's light the world is to shine light on the wonderful medical essential workers! So im giving a shout out to hartford hospital along with the institute of living. Thank you for all you do to keep us feeling better and positive! I will forever love you for how much you cared for me when I was down. You deserve much care back
