I called last min and was able to get a cake the next day. Thank you. First time to order a cake there. The cake was decorated beautifully and it tasted great. Very moist. I'll be back
We used Harter Bakery for our Engagement Party. We ordered a 50 person cake, it fed much more than 50, and we had large portions. The cake was fantastic, light and moist. The icing wasn't too sweet, and done beautifully. We also had them pipe the edges and put a monogram on top of the cake. It was beautiful, everyone wanted to know who made our cake. I would definitely recommend Harter Bakery to anyone looking for a Cake Decorator.
Got my daughter birthday cake it was,not cooked in the middle.And had 3 long black hairs .Took it back owner who baked cake said it was fine .I told her 5 people tried it and it was not fully cooked .Not to mention hairs. She basically said to bad. Kept the cake and my money. Beware
Above and beyond My father talks about these jelly filled donuts he had when he was a kid, how nothing compaired. Untill Harters Bakery, he said their Jelly filled donuts are just like the ones he had when he was a kid and can't get enough of them. My son had his first birthday today. Harter Bakery is impressing! I have been in the catering management position for 4 years and the cake delivered to our venue on 10/30/09 was the BEST Wedding cake I have tasted. It was visually stunning, and one of our chef's agreed with me, that the cake was absolute PERFECTION!!--Black Forest Cake can sometimes go in either direction, but it was AMAZING--I will recommend Harter's to all of my potential brides whether they book with me or not!
Beautiful cakes with care! My 4 year old daughter has an obsession with ponies and unicorns. For her birthday cake she specifically stated she wanted a cake with a unicorn and a rainbow on it. I checked with all of the supermarket bakeries, all of whom just pointed to "the book" and said, if it isn't in there, we can't do it. Driving home and ready to give up, I happened to pass Harter's. harters is fantastic! i went to harter's for my wedding cake and was absolutely amazed. it was so moist and delicious and was exactly as i'd ordered it. they even put my fake flower on it as well as the ribbon i bought. great experience.
Completely not what I ordered We ordered a Minnie Mouse 1st birthday cake for our daughter. When I picked it up (after they called me to get it early because it was a holiday and they wanted to leave early) the cake was completely wrong. It had a Mickey Mouse layout on it without Minnie at all, didn't match up to the number of layout it was suppose to have on it (she double checked in the book), the colors were red, blue, and green, not pink like indicated on the order, and my daughters name was misspelled. Stale dounuts I bought a dozen doughnuts, Half of them were cake doughnuts with coconut & all six were either over cooked or stale but were all hard & dry. the other six were grate. I'd bought the cake doughnuts with coconut before & they were always good. I called to tell them & they like questioned my integrity to say they would check with the bakery as if need confirm truth. I found it to be insulting & they lost a good customer! They had no apology or offer to make it right.
