Every time I go it's like Thanksgiving! Always satisfied...
One of my fathers favorite places and one of mine since I was a kid. I will be very very sad to ever see it go.
I've been going to Harrys for years and I've noticed over those years the quality of food as gone down. I always get the Turkey Dinner and the last three times the food has been cold and I noticed this time the plates seemed smaller in diameter and less turkey even the mash potatoes were cold. I eventually had my plate microwave ed. I don't think I'll be coming back for a while.
Been living in San Jose for 30 years and I cannot find a restaurant in the South Bay that serves Roast Turkey Leg with all the trimmings (mac & cheese, etc) - not to mention the finest tap beers in a laid back setting. Good old simple American cooking unequaled anywhere - why is that such a hard thing to find these days??? It makes me very sad to think this place is going to close...oh well, guess I gotta drive up to Redwood City for my Turkey Leg addiction.
May Harry's Hofbrau survive for a"Thousand Years"! 👍👍👅
