Get here as EARLY as you can. The docks ARE ON CEASAR CHAVEZ it is a blind side back and the elevation of the driveway will cause your landing gear to drag with low pro tires. The people are nice but not so quick unloading. You can sleep at the docks they will wake you up. They start about 530........look to do 3 hours here on a busy day. Be aware that there are a lot.of homeless people in the area......
I finally found dock 8 and 9 off of Caesar Chavez blvd. Trucker path was a little confusing. Hard back from a street but doable by yourself. I stayed the night in dock 9. Only 2 unloading docks off CChavez. Not bad at the end of the day when traffic is low. Homeless people all around but just keep some change available or get in the sleeper! They didn’t really bother me when I acted like I was on the phone.
This place is tight, but the guys here help you back into your dock. Whether you back in on Ceasars or on hardwood. They even unload quick. Park on the empty paved lot overnight if you can. And watch out for traffic. Traffic don't care about your truck, or the people helping you back, or the situation.
Got there night before for 5am delivery. Parked in dock on back side. They woke me up at 5am and started unloading. 1 hr done and gone! Thanks guys. Keep being great! Never stop!
