I saw a manager wearing his mask on his chin. When I pointed out this wouldn't be effective he told me "To mind my own business" despite the policy on the HT website saying they'd wear masks during the pandemic. Clearly thos managers comfort supersedes his customer's safety.
The managers and employees were not wearing gloves or masks and not keeping any kind of social distancing requirements. I asked the manager why...”He says it wasn’t mandated and he tried the mask the other day and it was uncomfortable.” That’s OK, our health and deaths of the patrons in Harris teeter equally values the uncomfortableness of wearing a mask!!! Too many great choices out there...Trader Joe’s, Lidl, Aldi, Sprouts & Publix only in NC. HT I’m over you!!!
I usually shop elsewhere but I decided to try this HT last week (4/13). I could hear a man over the speaker several times but I couldn’t understand him until the last two announcements. He was notifying customers of closing time and saying ‘please please please’ make your final selection and check out. I could hear the ‘begging’ in earlier announcements but I thought it was asking store employees to do something. There were at least five announcements using the words ‘please please please’. no social distancing, employees not wearing gloves or masks
This store has some serious issues. For one, they remodeled the store to make only one TINY entrance instead of the normal entrance and exit. During this time of social distancing, this new design makes it impossible to avoid being close to people. And their ExpressLane curbside service is pathetic. They just ought to shut it down. I've placed two order, and each one was fraught with problems. I'm not stupid--or patient--enough to give them a third chance. FoodLion and Target are a bit further for me, but they nail the curbs... read more
