Stopped on the way up to SF and ate in the Horse Shoe Lounge. Had the French Dip with garlic fries. Meat was tender and melted in my mouth. Son had a burger and fries and enjoyed his meal. Wife had the shrimp and veggies and raved about the meal. Worth the stop!
Service was excellent. We ordered the large prime rib to share, unfortunately I got the portion that was chewy. My husband's portion was tender. We shared lobster bisque soup, delicious. Then a salad, which was good. Delicious bread. Overall, very nice experience
My husband & I finally went after I've been bragging about for years...let's just say he wasn't disappointed. Can't wait to go back!!!

In one word... Amazing! Actually, it's so more than that.
I have been going to this special place since I was about 19 years old, I am now 56 and continue the family tradition. We go for Thanksgiving as it is a half way point for all of us. We have celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary, my dad's celebration of life, my mom's 80th birthday, spending nights here and always making a stop on our way to and from SoCal. Really good food, nice atmosphere, service a bit slow, but overall a nice place to stop for lunch.
