We have since moved to KC,MO., but when we lived in Greensboro, we loved to go to Harpers. The hamburgers and fries were the best and I really miss it. I wish we had one in KC. cause I sure would go there now. The service and the food were the best we ever had. Keep up the good work Harpers, and someday I will return. Thats a promise. Thanks for the chance to put my opinion out there.
My all time FAVORITE! This is honestly my favorite place to eat. Everything is made fresh including the dressings and sauces. The portions are great and the food is high quality. My favorite item is the Pimento cheese! It comes in the dipping trio. You can get it on our burger or fillet. They are great about making substitutions as well. OK restaurant I've only eaten at Harper's once, but didn't go back because I felt that the food wasn't necessarily worth the price. It was good food, but I just felt that the prices were a little high and that I could go elsewhere to get better food at the same price.
Nice atmosphere. Great destination dining or a break from shopping. Very convienent for lunch or dinner dining. Service is always superior and dining choices to meet any occasion.
Good service, friendly staff, good food, not too expensive – We have eaten at Harper's several times and have always had good food, good service and been satisfied overall. The pulled pork is an especially good value, and is served with your choice of Eastern NC vinegar-based sauce or Western NC red BBQ sauce - or both if you request. A+ Looking to have a nice intimate dinner with that special someone. This is the place. The lighting is dim and te atmosphere is very calming. The staff is so friendly. The food is made fresh and the portions are larger then anyone really needs. Great Food I love going to Harpers. The staff is so friendly. They treat you like long time friends. They food is really great and they dont keep you waiting long. The decor is elegant and the atmosphere is very intimate.
