WONDERFUL VETS! We started seeing Dr. D and his staff in June of 2009 and I love them all. We have three pugs and they all take excellent care of our babies. ANYTIME we nned them for our pugs they are there. Their prices are also completely fair. I would not trust any other vet with our furry kids since I have met him. I have seen all three vets there at one time or another and they were all very wonderful and caring. The staff also genuinely cares about the animals that come in to the facility. Doesn't get any better than this!!!! Dr. D and his staff are excellent!! Dr. D has personally saved our dogs life not once, but twice. Once when he was a vet in Keller/N. FtW and again just last month. He hasn't just been our vet for 11 years, but he has become a wonderful friend as well. He is very honest and cares for our lab as if he would care for one of his own animals. Thank you Dr. D, Dr. Harper and your loveing staff. We know that we can always count on you, no matter how far we have to drive.
Will Never Go Back I brought my cat in because he had a large wound on his foot. Dr. Dewylder poked my cat's foot with his pen and recommended antibiotics. As I was checking out I noticed a $35 wellness examination fee on my bill. I told the receptionist I was not paying for it since my cat did not receive a wellness exam. I then spoke with Dr. Dewylder who said he did do an exam, that he did a "brief" exam. I said I didn't care, I was not paying $35 for his "brief" exam when he did in no way shape or form examinate my cat. ... read more
Cannot Recommend I purchased a Doberman puppy from the daughter of Dr. Dedwylder with the assurance from both that she was registered and that the papers were "on their way". After months of waiting and emailing, I found the sire and was told that the puppy is only partially registered, and registration would not be given until proof was made that the puppy had been sterilized. Additionally, the puppy came from the vet with a urinary tract infection that was so severe it took three treatments to cure it. Cannot recommend eit... read more
NOT HONEST Dr. Dewylder does not examine your animals but still charges for it. I am a volunteer for animal rescue groups and several members have had similar experiences with him. When I refused to pay for the "wellness exam" he returned to the room with his equipment and examined my dog. Be sure to check your bill closely. It is dangerous that pets are not being properly checked out. Also with him being a vet, people should trust you with their animals lives. They should not be taken advantage of.
Awesome!!! I love Dr. Dedwylder and his staff!!! I take my four year old Yorkie there, Wiley!!! He loves them more than I do. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I recommend this clinic to anyone in the area. They also have a awesome groomer at this location. I really think she is the best ever!!!
The Best! Dr Dedwylder and the staff at Boat Club Road Animal Hospital have been taking care of my sweet Boston Terrier for several years now. Anytime I have a medical, surgical, or behavioral problem, he always has the answers. Without a doubt, he is the most intelligent, caring, compassionate and honest veterinarian I know. Great Place to take your pets!! This vet is the best one I have ever been to in my 20 years of owning and caring for pets. They are very thorough and strive to provide the best care for my pets. I know they went through some tough times when they recently expanded and had a little readjusting to do, but that didn't change the fact that everyone on staff is there because they love animals. Dr. D and Dr. Martin are both knowledgeable and compassionate and I trust them both with my pets.
