In the 1930s, a man with the unlikely name of Johnny Walker built a bar called the Cave Creek Corral. Walker’s creation was an instant sensation with cowboys, playboys, politicians and laborers who gathered to drink A-1 beers at wooden tables under wanted posters.Harold Gavagan and his wife Ruth bought the Cave Creek Corral in the mid 1950s. while waiting for our salads to come out that we never got till after the entrée was severed, the waitress was sitting with the people next to us looking at their photos on there I Phone. will never go back to this place again. The food was also VERY BAD, let alone the non-existant service. The more we pointed out NICELY, that we came there to have a nice time with good food and friends, the more useless she became.
All cooking keep lazy forever....
Just a comment---I guess DH and I are really lucky, because we have never had anything but good to excellent service at Harold's---maybe not always warm and fuzzy, but always quick, efficient, and professional. It's one of our favorite local joints (except during football season---those fans are manic!). If we miss out on the unrivaled prime rib special on Wednesdays, that's okay, because I love me their street tacos! And their biscuits and gravy---wooo-hooo!
