On July 9th, Dr. Tandri performed a cardiac ablation on me, at the recommendation of Dr. Hugh Calkins, who I had traveled down from Philly to consult. It was my third ablation... the first was successful for about 18 months; the second was ineffective, and during the procedure my AV node was ablated inadvertently, resulting in a pacemaker. (Neither of these was performed at Johns Hopkins).
