I had a delicious mocha made very skillfully considering it was decaf and still yummy. The spot could use more couches and chairs--a lot of backless chairs makes the atmosphere feel stiff and not lived in/uncomfortable.
I don’t usually write reviews but Harder Day is my absolute favorite, simply because of four factors that make them stand out from Portland’s other delicious coffee shops. 1. Ample and well-spaced seating, indoors and outdoors (always have been able to be seated) 2. A great rewards program (including birthday drinks) 3. Always clean and uncluttered (I have obsessive and distractible tendencies) 4. Fewer baristas so their drinks are more reliable (they’re also ALL really nice)
This place is a true gem in the Woodstock neighborhood. Not only was I warmly welcomed, but I was also given both a beautiful and delicious cappuccino. ☕
I used to live walking distance to Harder Day so it was my go to. I've definitely been spoiled by their fantastic lattes. Now I have to drive to get it but it's nice they have several locations and they are consistent across locations! So no matter which one you go to the coffee will be delicious. Many of my coffee loving friends have appreciated the recommendation. Outside of Vietnamese style coffee, Harder Day is unquestionably my favorite. The staff are always so sweet too.
I had one of the best chai tea lattes I've had in a long time... frothy, spicy, balanced, honestly a real treat! I also love this location and the later hours (which is hard to find in Portland).
