The food is good, but I'm soooo glad the carpet got updated, that was a real drawback. Great local spot!!!
I have eaten at Harbor House for years and always given them a 5star review. However, I can no longer do so. Lately the fish is dark (not white), lacking flavor. I have sent my fish back on my last 2 visits. Today the cole slaw was bland and nothing more than chopped cabbage with a bit of mayo. Ugh. Not sure if I will return. I will go back to Ted's for a few weeks and then give Harbor House another try to see if things change. Perhaps a change in the vendor from which they buy their fish. I have given this place 5 stars in the past but this time my fish fry came in 3 pieces and it all fell apart while eating. They need to serve each fry with 1 long piece of fish and long ends. I told the server at the counter about this and all she did was give me a smile.
Fish and clam rolls are terrific. Like everything about this place.
Usually the best fish fry but was very small today and didn't taste that well. Cocktail sauce was a little weak too
