Writing a review for Harbor Hospice has been on my mind for a long time now. The main problem was is that I just didn’t know how to express all my feelings to the beautiful Care that my mother have received back in August 2024. I had no idea what to do when my mother went into the hospital and we found out she had pancreatic cancer. I was the only child able to be there for her and because of that i was responsible for making all these decisions that I had no clue how to handle. Thank god for Marco from Harbor Hospice. He was so sympathetic and took me step by step thru this heart wrenching time. We were struggling to find a rehabilitation place that would take her, i think they knew she was worse than we did. Lack of communication and very poor management. We went over a month without seeing a nurse and she would not return phone calls or texts. Management was silent as well. In that month’s time my husband’s condition degraded. While the social worker and chaplain are wonderful, everything else was unprofessional. Look elsewhere as this is not the time to add stress to your plate.
As a home care provider in Plano, we consistently refer to Harbour Hospice and have had an excellent experience with their hospice care in Plano. Our experience with Harbor hospice has been amazing! Crystal our nurse is so incredibly helpful and has been with us every step of the way. She has answered all of our questions and has given us the absolute best support during this time. Our social worker and chaplain have been awesome. They have provided us with so much love and comfort as well. Any help or resources that we have needed. They both have been right there alongside us.
