I am very pleased with the work and dedication that Harbour Hospice has provided. Nurses Kelsey, Krystal, Mike, Linda, Social worker Yonnie, Chaplin Daymond, and Community educator coordinator Jessica together made the team of angels for me and my husband. Harbor Hospice of Plano is hands down one of the best hospice agencies in the DFW area. From the first meeting with the admission staff to the nurses caring for a patient, the social worker, chaplain and director of nursing. Every staff member makes you feel like family. The Harbor Hospice in Plano has a wonderful team of nurses and caregivers. They all go above and beyond to help your family member remain comfortable and able to do as much as they can. They always answered the phone when someone called and would come out if they needed to. Towards the end they would come out everyday. I read reviews and saw some negative ones, but this it not the same hospice that are in those reviews.
I was the medical point of contact for my father, signed all the papers, was the one they called when he passed, but they had another family member signed release papers and take his stuff home. Lucretia who looks just like Esther, told my family who was with him that we my daughters and I, couldn’t see him because they had limited visitors, and we had to beg and I had to remind her that I was the primary medical person over my father and that I signed the paper to put him there and they finally let us up to see him.
