I've been on three charters so far. This is my first halibut charter and first time fishing them. Of the three different charters, this was the only one that talked everyone through everything- how to best hook the bait, what to do when you get a bite for best chance of hooking, when to drop the line, when the depth changed, etc. I always felt in the know, which for someone who isn't a super fisherman yet felt great!
