RecommendedClean and comfortable friendly staff great service
Management is extremely rude and it is very crowded. Being full, I understand, but not caring how some campers are parked is another. I do not recommend this campground at all.
Convenient for Mt Rushmore, reptile gardens and Crazy Horse Monument
Very clean here big park. We just got here .
Great location, close to Rapid City and on the way into the Black Hills. The staff are great, managed to get us a site last minute when they are nearly full. Nice people.
HORRIBLE - My family stayed here (at the hotel side) and we should have followed our intuition and checked out before we stayed. The air conditioner leaked inside our room and I had to pour out water from my shoes the next day. There was a poor patch job where it was leaking upon further inspection and mold was covered up. No one EVER came to clean our room, fix the air, and it was dirty and discusting! We had had problems since and I have tried to reach them manager and have NEVER been called back (I have left 4 messages). ... read more
The sites were very tight & cramped. They did not appear as the picture on website. On morning that we left, the people at the campsite across drive had to move their car so that we could pull out from our campsite. This was at 6 A. Thank goodness when we checked with them the night before, they were okay with it.
We stayed her during Sturgis week a few years ago. Beautiful and lots to do. The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. We are going back this year and can’t wait!
