I ordered online and went to pick up. The place was cute inside, but the food and drinks were unimpressive. I ordered the vegan bowl and a vanilla latte. The vegan bowl is toddler portioned at best (for $10). The beans tasted like they’re straight out of a can. So not worth it! My iced vanilla latte was also very underwhelming.
Good for both dine in and to go orders. Their ordering interface lets you customize and make exceptions for allergies and mile preferences seamlessly.
Better than expected!
I first visited the owners' predecessor coffee shop many years ago, and I liked it a lot, although it was small. Happ now is much larger in its post-industrial space in the Virginia Metalcrafters building and the ambience is great. The coffee--roasted on the premises--is also excellent. I like to go really early, get some avocado toast and a coffee (with refills), and open my laptop to get some work done. By the time I've put in a couple of good hours, the place has gotten busy.
