Go here! I went to Hansen's on the recommendation of a friend after having being misled or screwed over at the last 2 places I'd been to. I had my oil changed, transmission fluid changed, and brakes checked. They assured me my brakes were in good shape, and actually charged me less than quoted for the transmission stating that they used less oil than anticipated. When you're used to being talked into extras, it's so refreshing dealing with an honest shop.

Broke down on the interstate on a cold morning, I learned there is a lot to be thankful for: the AAA worker who got my call processed before my phone died (it was a photo finish); two dedicated public servants, one from the DOT who checked on me and one State Trooper who checked on me and let me warm up; a smart and efficient tow truck operator; my longtime friends at Hansen's Auto on South Park in Madison; my wife (every day); caring and understanding co-workers. This life really is all about the people.
