I had a horrible experience with Dr. Yu. Every appointment all he did was ultrasounds, which I loved at first, until I was all the way going into my last trimester, and had went to a 3-D ultrasound elsewhere with friends and family only to discover my child had cleft lip. What a way to find out. Surrounded by people. When my Dr. , Dr. Yu, that had done ultrasounds every visit had never said anything about it to me. So what was he even checking? How did he miss that? He is pleasant and is very knowledgeable. My issue has only been recent with the birth of my son in August. I was 6 weeks post partum and called to schedule my check up. I was immediately told I was "too late" and that I would not be seen for that. I asked why and apparently he likes to do the check up much sooner afterwards. I was not made aware of this and I am still upset. The staff was a bit rude about it as well. They still won't schedule me for a check up. It just seems a bit irresponsible

The overall experience at Dr. Yu's office is satisfactory. When he is not able to see you, you will spend time with his P.A. and she is very sweet and professional; probably the best part about being his patient. This is my 3rd child and the first two where with different OB's. He is not as thorough as other OB's. He did not run all the tests the others did like pap test. However, the fact that he does not over complicate things makes your visit simple and fast. No wait time. Would recommend.
