History Established in 1992. Hanover Animal Hospital opened in September 1992 in the Hanover Commons Shopping Center in Mechanicsville, Va. by Dr. John Billeter and his wife Janet. The practice moved one half mile north to Crown Colony Parkway in May of 2001 and continues to offer care for small animal family members with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

I have been bringing my pets to HAH for over 10 years now. In fact, I used to work there several years ago. I normally would have nothing but good things to say about HAH. That is until, I heard they have been bought out by a larger company. Ever since the new ownership, things have changed. I used to recognize and trust all of the vets, techs, and receptionists. The first time I called, no one ever picked up & there was no recording. (I called several times.) A few weeks later I called & the receptionist said she was too busy and could I call back 3 days later. Ummm... no thank you!!
