Ordered the lasagna, usually don't get soft noodles with a decent Bolognese sauce and two slices of mozzarella laid on top and warmed. I've had better lasagna at chain restaurants. The arugula salad was ok, nothing to write home about especially at $9.00. Asked for a refill on my coffee and the waitress offered to make me a second cup for $4.00. One of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in awhile! The service was top notch and the food was fantastic and so fresh! My fiancé and I were in town visiting D.C. From SC as a little mini trip before our wedding. I spent about an hour researching different restaurants to try out since I'm a chef myself I love trying new restaurants when traveling and Hanks Pasta Bar did not disappoint!
