The best mechanic I've ever had – We've been taking our cars to Hank's for over 10 years. We found them based on a recommendation from boulevard Tires. It's the kind of place where they'll tell you if you don't need a tune-up or oil change if you don't need one. Their prices are fair, we've never been charged more than their original quote, and they've kept our 1996 Isuzu Hombre pickup humming. Shade Tree Mechanics done right – I've been using Hank's garage since they were recommended to me by a co-worker in 2007. They work on all cars, but they specialize in imports, and they are the most reasonably-priced garage I have found in the Metro. Great Place – I've had service work and high dollar repairs done on my van at Hanks. It was always ready when they said it would be and if I did have a problem they took care of it. Sure, I had to make an appointment but that''s to be expected with a mom and pop shop. Good prices too!

Used to be good / going down hill – Took my vehicle in for a simple radiator leak. $500 later radiator is still leaking, plus now car is over heating... Took it back to them and they said they would look it if they found time. Left it all day and apparently they didnt find time. Cant afford to keep messing with them. Wish I had my $500 back.

Good Experience – Very good service. Price was reasonable, and repair efficient. I had a frightening break down on a Sunday evening, and my regular mechanic's shop was chained up with no emergency number listed. I did not know where I would leave the vehicle. I was frantic, the tow truck driver recommended Hank's. I could not have been treated better. The owner is no nonsense. Will definitely go back.

Very good service – Almost every car I've had has broken down, and people never knew how to fix them, This company has fixed all of my cars every time for the cheapest price. I would recommend to anybody, If you notice the bad reviews said that they hadn't even used the service.

Great customer service, excellent work – Have gone back again and again and the service was excellent every time, and I'm a woman. Maybe someone was having an off day on the other reviewers days, b/c I've had great service and good price every time. A lot cheaper than if I tried to figure it out!

Women Beware!!! Or anyone else for that matter! – Called to ask about brake service for back brakes on a front wheel drive vehicle. Was quoted a price of nearly $150 !!!! I found that this is a very simple process of applying pads to the back wheels, which should only cost about $80 at most. I would not recommend anyone to this mechanic shop! I am a woman, maybe that is why I was quoted so high!!! Pittiful!!!

Rude – First impressions mean a lot to me, when I called to see if I could get a estimate on work for my car the man on the phone was VERY rude and I would never let them work on my car !!!!!
