Everything was excellent... The waiter, food & whole staff was on point. My next visit to Charleston, this will be on my todo list.

Amazing place. Looks old timey and run down outside. Well let's say rustic original. Inside is the most elegant 5 star experience ever. Amazing staff and the freshest seafood I ever had. I had just returned from the Bahamas if that can explain how good it was.

It didn't live up to the hype in my book. As first time visitors to Charleston and Hank's we ate at several restaurants for a lot less that had much better service. The service at the bar was exceptional, but the table service was less than what you'd expect from this kind of restaurant. Our server seemed to disappear. We went last night September 18th and loved the food and the service. I don't generally order fried foods but the grouper and shrimp were excellent! We would highly recommend this restaurant to others and we have eaten at very upscale places.

Honestly it's way overpriced for the food. We expected an amazing meal with exceptional service and it lacked both. It was my dads birthday and he had a miserable experience. Salmon was just so so with an awful sauce and grit cake (didn't go at all) and the seafood pasta was bland and super watery. Service was not nearly what it should have been, not one person asked us how we were enjoying our meal. As a local I highly suggest not coming here. So many better places in Charleston where u won't spend $200. Very disappointed.

We loved our dinner. We tried appetizers and entrees and a dessert to share. Everything was wonderful. The crab cakes were practically breadcrumbless. Very creamy and delicious. The ahi tuna was fabulous. And portions were quite large. I personally think the portion of Wando Seafood is large enough for 2 and the sauce is absolutely delightful.
