Tyler is an expert and so reasonably priced for the great work. He's worked on several projects, and I'm glad we have a gunsmith conveniently in Austin.
Tyler was very timely, friendly and helpful. Didn’t overcharge and would highly recommend. Needed a quick front sight replacement on my Canik and I’m glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem.
My experience with this shop was just a disaster. They did not have their act together to say the least. A guy at McBride's recommended them to me but my time and money were wasted following this recommendation... Beware.
*****Best Gunsmiths in South Austin!***** I had my beloved Sig that I carried in the Park Service for years and was having issues getting new night sights installed. I broke my $100 sight jig trying to get it off and need professional help. So I talked to the smiths at “the range Austin”…terrible service. Took two of my dad’s childhood guns there to get them re blued. They had them there for 11 months and finally received them back three weeks ago. They have been indoors and not in the elements and they are already starting to rust ! I’m am very disappointed in this. I don’t mind paying to have a job done right but every turn has been problematic. My gun store shipped the guns to the repair shop last November 2023.
