So far th only redeeming feature for this site is the fact that it is in the same building that the Ortho doctor is in. I went in after seeing the doctor to get fitted for a "hinged" knee brace. We were told that it might take 2 week to get auth from the insurance company so an appointment to pickup the brace was scheduled for Feb 20. When I realized that I had missed the pickup I called and was told that it would possibly take another 2 weeks to get the authorization. I was not called to tell me that there was a problem. The ladies/receptionists at the front desk are professional,kind,warm and understanding. We came to pick up my husband special shoes and they were so helpful....we came 10/24/2025...Mr. Dawson White the Certified Pedorthist was so helpful and explained to us about my husband feet and all about different conditions of feet and helped my husband pick out some excellent shoes with insoles...

I had the pleasure of being helped by Cieirra when the Ortho at Emory sent me for a brace for my wrist. Cieirra was very cordial and helpful. She gave me upfront pricing with and without insurance and even other alternatives that would work for me. She was absolutely amazing and is what health care should be all about!
My doctor cut my cast off and sent me to hanger clinic. They sent me home with no care, no splint. Just a totally unprotected broken hand. When I walked in I handed the front desk lady my referral for a splint and said my doctor said you could make me a splint. She started ranting at me. " I don't know why they keep telling people that. This is the problem with Emory. We're not Emory and we're not making the splint." I asked why and got zero response, just more, "we're not Emory. We can't help you."
