I have been wearing AFOs for 17 years, so I have a good understanding of how they should fit and function. While I appreciate the help I have received from Abe, who is always kind, respectful, and willing to listen, I have had several ongoing concerns. The Velcro straps and hook material tend to wear out faster than expected, and I have often needed multiple appointments to get my AFOs fitting comfortably. Have had issues with braces not being ready on time and quality of the braces have gone down since being bought out (very disappointing)! But Abe is always helpful!
Mike and everyone at Hanger clinic are the best in the business.
I would not recommend this place. The service was not as advertised, and it created unnecessary stress during an already difficult medical situation. My daughter was seen on 02/29/26 and was fitted for a boot related to compartment syndrome. Unfortunately, the boot was incorrectly sized and too big for her to safely walk in. On 04/02/26, her orthopedic doctor advised us to return and get a different style boot that properly fits her foot.
