Discovered this weekend! Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.
I've been going to Handy's for breakfast for over 15 years, and my daughter has been eating here her whole life! Simply the best diner food in Burlington, hands down. Earl and Mrs. Handy are like family...we look forward to our hugs from them as much as the delicious omelettes, egg sandwiches, pancakes and sausage!!
70 years of great food. A must wether you are local or just visiting!
When I think of all the food in downtown Burlington, all those options, those choices... Sometimes its just to much. So I go where they make every meal with a bit of love and a lot of tradition. Handy's is the only place when you want to feel like you're more than a customer.

Handy's immediately caught my eye when I noticed that they serve Boar's Head deli meat. It's hard to find in Vermont and I grew up on the stuff. When I first visited the friendly atmosphere and great food put it on the top of my list of affordable breakfast and lunch restaurants. I keep coming back and I'm never disappointed.
