Fabulous food, uncompromising quality, affordable pricing. Great service, These adjectives cannot adequately describe my recent visit to Handy's Lunch. I had a breakfast to die for. I do not know what they did to my fried potatoes but in my 69 years of living no other potatoes I have eaten can compare to the perfect taste and texture of Handy's Lunch fried potatoes.
Food is reasonably priced and tastes good enough, the potatoes are waaaaaayyyyy undercooked. Was excited to go here but not worth the trip.
Great little cozy dinner, staff so friendly always asking if you need anything and Earl the owner walks around talking to you making sure you’re ok. Best service I have received anywhere and when I go back to Burlington , this will be one of the first stops. Only thing I wish was that It was open later, first day we went (came from Montréal) it was supper and it was closed, a little disappointing but when we finally went Sunday it was worth it
Loved the atmosphere and the sweet potato tots. The downtime Vt feel was the best.

We stopped by because I like lil neighborhood hole in the walls. I was not disappointed! The food was very good, apple cinnamon pancakes, AWESOME!!! What made this experience wonderful is that the make you feel like you’ve been there since they opened. We are from Texas and they showed’ GENUINE, concern for us about the Harvey hurricane that tore up our big city of Houston. If your ever in Burlington Vermont go to Handy’s..... you won’t be disappointed!!
Excellent local restaurant run by the family. Food great, prices good and really enjoyed our food and time there.
