You can rely on Dai at Handyman Auto Repair. Been going to him about 5+ years now. EDIT: I moved away several months ago, driving 2900 miles to my new residence. Just before I left Dai gave my car a thorough inspection and took care of anything I needed for a car with 110,000 miles, plus an oil change. I recently got my new emissions inspection. Dai is an outstanding mechanic. He did a fantastic job replacing the timing belt on my 20+ year-old Toyota 4Runner, as well as servicing the differential oils, brakes, and power steering fluid — all at a very fair price and completed on time. He’s extremely knowledgeable about 4Runners and takes the time to carefully evaluate and explain what truly needs attention, rather than recommending unnecessary services. I truly appreciate his honesty, professionalism, and expertise.
Got my tire repaired in 5 minutes, much quicker than big chained shops. Honest and friendly handy man. Will definitely comeback for future small car repair work.
First time I ever brought my own oil for oil change. I was a little nervous after reading some negative reviews. I went on Saturday morning right when it opened, and there were already several people waiting in line. The mechanic (not old but middle aged) was certainly not talkative or friendly, but he seemed like an honest person.
