So disappointed by this emergency room. I sat in the waiting room and cried for two hours in pain while they didn’t bring a single soul back to any rooms. I ended up leaving before I was ever seen, then had to drive 40 min to IU SAXONY (which were worth the drive btw) sad this is the only emergency room in the area as it’s HORRIBLE. Will never be back.
My family had a deeply concerning experience at Hancock Regional Hospital involving Dr. Pittman. During treatment for my father’s severe finger injury, after cutting part of his finger off. Dr. Pittman squeezed the injured area without warning or explanation. My father immediately cried out in pain, repeatedly saying, “It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!” The doctor did not acknowledge this and performed the same action again without any sympathy or explanation to what he was doing or why. Unprofessional & rude in my opinion
