My family had a deeply concerning experience at Hancock Regional Hospital involving Dr. Pittman. During treatment for my father’s severe finger injury, after cutting part of his finger off. Dr. Pittman squeezed the injured area without warning or explanation. My father immediately cried out in pain, repeatedly saying, “It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!” The doctor did not acknowledge this and performed the same action again without any sympathy or explanation to what he was doing or why.
