While obviously current on the practice of medicine, Dr Hananel is easy to talk to, and takes the time to listen. I can’t imagine a better combination of attributes for a doctor, or a person. As an added benefit, he has a wonder sense of humor. At our first meeting, when I shook hands, I rolled his hand over and looked at it. With a funny look, he ask why. I told him I was checking the size of his knuckles. We both laughed at that. If you have a prostate you understand.
What stood out in my visit was the fact that I gave my insurance information before my appointment and it was to my surprise when I made it to the appointment that they didn’t accept my insurance. Which cost($250) The doctor was okay. But the staff needs training on knowing what insurance the facility accept.

I was taken back and seen on time for my appointment. Dr. Hananel explained what he felt was my problem. Unfortunately my insurance does not cover the test I need to have done. He did recommend a possible solution.
He said I had a stone - even did tests to prove it. I said I had no pain. He put me through tests and hospital procedure and there was none there. He did not even come to see me after. He told my husband. Would never recommend this dr. I feel like it was a money pull.
Dr. Hananel is a friendly and nice doctor with excellent bedside manner. He cares about his patient and makes every effort to provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for the patient during the visits.
