Dr Subramanian is phenomenal. I've had to see allergists my entire life, and she is at the top of the list. She is very thorough, professional, and kind. She and her staff greet me by first name whenever I'm there, which gives the office a very small town, family-like feel. I think that's pretty incredible given that she has a ton of patients and is quite busy. I'd recommend her to anyone.
The Doctor was excellent! She was patient and asked a lot of questions and listened to all of my concerns. I feel confident she has the answer to what is causing me to have terrible headaches! Sue the nurse was very nice as well. I would recommend them to anyone who is having trouble with allergies!!
Dr Subramanian was helpful, thorough and seemed competent during my first visit with her. Within a few days I developed pneumonia and returned to her office during which she was condescending, threatening and rude. She performed unnecessary medical tests on me. All of this was incredibly distressing as I was feeling awful and having trouble breathing. When she finally listened to my lungs, heard the pneumonia and saw the low pulse ox did she believe me and start acting nice (and very concerned!)
Very competent. See me without delay.
Go see her! She is SUPER smart at what she does. I was referred to her by another BJC Doctor and I'm so greatful. She found my issue in the time of my visit and it is now in the process of being treated. Others didn't care or didn't try to help like she did. Staff is super nice.
I have severe allergic rhinitis. I also have an autoimmune condition where my nasal passages grow shut. I went to WashU foremost allergy doctor and after surgery and 2 years he said he couldn't do anything more for me. I had to sleep sitting up for years because mucus was so thick I couldn't breathe. My GP referred me to her in 2001 and I won't go anywhere else. Will pay out of pocket. She helped me breathe again.Willing to do research to help her patients. Trust her with my life
Dr. Subramanian seemed to be a very competent Allergist and was able to see me right away, however her one of her office staff, Regina (Gina) made it very uncomfortable for me to call the office. She is VERY rude and made it to where I did not want to contact the office and am now going to stop Dr. Subramanian just for the fact that the office staff was terrible.
