Update Oct 2025/after move out: I originally gave this place a 5 star review in November 2024 at the request of the landlord because he said he earns money for good reviews, so I thought it was nice at the time, but I would not trust the ‘good’ reviews here. Sept 2025 update: They will automatically charge you between 200 and 400 dollars on move out for cleaning, this is not in your lease. DO NOT RENT HERE. Washington landlord-tenant law (RCW 59.18.280) only allows deductions for necessary cleaning or damages, with itemized receipts. We’ve lived here for 2 months and love this area, it’s very charming, walkable, and so close to parks and restaurants! Trevor has done well as property manager and has helped us with all our questions and facilitated an overall smooth move in. It is an old building, so it’s a bit creaky and doesn’t have powered ventilation/AC. But i love the light and charms/quirks. giving 4/5 stars since it is a bit pricey, but you’re paying for the great area!
I just moved in a few weeks ago and am loving the unit and building so far! Floors creak a bit and you can hear the neighbor stomping upstairs, but it makes me more conscious of my steps so I’m aware of my downstairs neighbor. And it is an older building with new updates in the kitchen and bathroom, so there’s a lot of charm and history I love in this building.
