The apartments are in a great location, close to downtown and the University of South Carolina. I had some issues when moving in, but they were quickly resolved. The maintenance technicians are excellent and always take care of repairs promptly.
Jasmine was the only reason I stayed and didnt fight with them too much, but the PEST (ROACHES)is ridiculous! When I first got there, they said the last tenants left it and that they will get past control. Okay, 3 months in... still filled with roaches so I gave up. I decided to not stay there. Even after paying rent for a whole year, the roaches are very present and very big AND they did NOT give me any discount. Not to mention, the walls are paper thin. Its ridiculous. Horrible & unsafe place to live, needs to be shut down ASAP!!!
Okay neighborhood. Maintence is good but MAN. If you live on the first floor. You can hear every step from upstairs. A crazy amount of squeaking sounds and loud steps. Its not normal and the building floors are horrible. Highly recommend DO NOT LIVE ON THE FIRST FLOOR because it is unbearable.
I worked with Maria in the leasing office, and she has been nothing but kind and professional, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. I was initially hesitant to rent at Cross Hill because of some of the less-than-stellar reviews, but I needed to move quickly (I had 5 days to find a new place) and I wanted to live in Rosewood, so I decided to move forward and I’m really glad I did.
