Caregivers are forced to pass meds even without 1hr of training. Staff is over worked. Multiple undocumented residents falls. No dietitian so residents diets get ignored. Staff walks around in gloves so constant cross contamination. Not 1 state trained cna in the building. Wounds get ignored cath tubing full of mold due to no trained personnel to switch it out. I am very grateful for my job at the Hampton manor I love helping and making the residents smile I always look forward to coming into work my residents are the best and they aslo make me smile
Our family feels good knowing that the Chef provides a variety of nutritious meals. Food and snacks are available anytime. Care Managers provide water with a hug and a smile. The Nurse and Med team dispenses her medication as prescribed. Our family feels good knowing she has social activities provided along with various outings for her to socialize. We are blessed.
We spent 18 months looking for the right place to meet the needs of our 91 year old father. We finally found it when Hampton Manor of Shelby opened. He's been there for 2 months. The staff and the facility exceeded our expectations. We've been overwhelmed by the kind, caring, and attentive caregivers. We've developed a deep affection for the people who have treated our Dad with such warmth and respect.
The staff is great and they do so many fun activities with their residents!
This place is wonderful. My grandma lives here and my family and I have seen such a huge improvement in her happiness since she’s been here. She has dementia and the staff takes such wonderful care of her —they make sure she always has fun activities to do and just watch out for her well-being.
