Just off the main road, our hotel is less than a mile from the beach, Heavenly Village, and Heavenly Gondola Run. We’re about five minutes from hiking trails and 20 minutes from ski slopes. We offer ski and bike storage with lockers at our hotel, plus a lobby bar, heated indoor pool, heated patio, hot tub, and fire pit.

We have stayed at this hotel once before and questioned the service. The first time we gave the benefit of the doubt as they were very understaffed at the time. This time around, however was a different story. We did an online check in before arriving and selected a specific room number. Upon check in, we were told that the room was not ready yet, but another room on a different floor was ready. Extremely Unsafe and Unprofessional Experience at Hampton Inn South Lake Tahoe I had an absolutely unacceptable experience at this property. My 65+ year-old father got stuck in the elevator for over an hour during a power outage — a deeply distressing and dangerous situation. The receptionist, Marilyn, was not only unhelpful, but shockingly rude when we asked for assistance. Instead of showing empathy or trying to resolve the situation, she spoke rudely to my husband and failed to take responsibility or escalate the matter. ... read more
