Room was booked for an overnight stay for family of 4 for 4th of July celebrations. Drove almost 5 hours to get there. Were checked in smoothly but when we went to room it was not what we'd booked and was inadequate. My wife rang front desk to explain/complain. She was told Yes, he could see the room was not what was booked - phone then went dead. When my wife rang back phone was not answered. So we went to the front desk. ILLEGALLY asked for service animal papers twice. LOUD POPPING noise from fridge every couple of minutes that woke me up from sleep, was supposed to waive parking fee but was still charged. Stained pillow cases and towels, sound of doors slamming. Poor customer service and unfriendly, no apologies for inconvenience of having to contact them for wrong charges and their mistake. Had to mention I was a Gold member to receive welcome drink and snack, was not even thanked for being a Gold member as I have been at other Hiltons. Al... read more

This hotel is a great value if you're looking for clean, spacious accommodations in the South Lake Tahoe area. The rooms have been recently updated with new flooring, are comfortable, and offer plenty of space for families or longer stays. One of the nice perks is the complimentary breakfast, which makes it easy to get an early start before a day of skiing or exploring the lake.
