I wanted to rate this hotel higher because the hotel looked nice, the rooms were generally clean and updated, and the staff and service were great. I made a few requests that were quickly met with a great attitude. I rated it below average because I cannot, cannot stand humid rooms. We’re on a road trip passing through different cities each night, and this is the third Hilton over the past 2 weeks with terrible AC. I was planning on staying at this hotel for approximately 30 days for a work related trip. I don't have a sensitive nose, but when I arrived at the hotel, the lobby REEKED of cigarette smoke. So did the elevator, to the point that it was nauseating. My room, on the other hand, smelled very strongly of harsh chemicals, like I was in some kind of hospital.
