Staff was friendly. Facility was clean. But realistically, the most important feature in any hotel is the bedding. I had to check to see if I was sleeping directly on the box springs itself. The mattress was so old and hard it felt like I was sleeping on a bed of 2x4s. Hampton built an entire marketing campaign around the plushness and comfort level of its bedding, but they completely forgot about the Hampton in Kokomo when they did.
We paid for out of state relatives to stay at this hotel over 4th of July weekend 2025. They got back to their room one night to find thousands of ants. They got to change rooms and was told that management would be calling us on Monday about a refund. Well, they did not. When we called twice, we were told they knew nothing about the incident.
