An older hotel but this property is extremely well maintained by a hospitable staff. The rooms are large and there is plenty of free parking.

I had an exceptional experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/Farmington. Due to my own mistake, I booked the wrong date and only realized it on the day of arrival, just hours before an important art opening at the Hill-Stead Museum next door, where one of my sculptures was on display. At this point I feel I was scammed by this hotel. When I showed up to check-in I was informed the pool was not working and that I could cancel at that time with no penalty by the gentleman at the front desk. He said they would work with my credit card to refund me in 3-5 days, so I cancelled and booked another hotel. A week later after no refund I call and was told I need my credit card to initiate the refund, so I did and my credit card company told me the hotel rejected my claim. Beautiful place with a very nice staff. The morning breakfast was amazing with blueberries served that were really fresh too.

one of the best Hampton Inns I have stayed in. feels new, super quiet, clean, good service
