The Hampton Inn in South Haven had very friendly staff, the room was clean, and near the wonderful beaches. This is the only hotel I have stayed at that blueberry compote available with the waffle station. I will stay here again

Terrible. Hotel smelled of cigarette smoke both on my floor and in my room. When I alerted the front desk, they "checked it out" and said there wasn't any smell. Due to health issues, I cannot stay in a hotel with smoke. The front desk and manager were very rude about the experience, and denied me a refund of any kind. I am having to take this to corporate to get it resolved. This is unfortunate since most of my Hilton hotel experiences have been positive.

I am more than happy to say the staff is top notch. I have stayed in many hotels and the customer service here is beyond phenomenal.

Run away. The mold and mildew problem is awful. The staff was helpful and tried to put us far away from it but even at the opposite end of the hotel —where the mildew producing pool is —everything is saturated. I can even taste it. Just one night passing through is too long but husband refuses leave.
