What is there not to like? The price was very competitive -- and a steal when compared to hotels in nearby San Francisco. Parking was free and just outside of the building. The building is a historic silk factory with a cool history documented in pictures and descriptions of the brick walls. The staff was extremely friendly. The room seemed newly renovated and sparkling clean. Our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was your typical US breakfast though some items were well known brands (e.g., Philadelphia cream cheese).
Excellent all around. The old silk factory building with high ceilings and exposed brick walls give this Hampton Inn a boutique hotel feel
The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were friendly. The challenge is that the walls conduct sound from outside the hotel and within. I could hear a nearby neighbor snoring all night, the drag racing down the street, and every word of the conversation of a man a few rooms down. I was too concerned everyone else would hear my conversation that I didn't make calls in the room. Because the main purpose of a hotel in my mind is to get sleep and to having some privacy, this location is only good if they are under-booked.
Beautiful hotel, very nice, clean, and spacious rooms. Had a good breakfast and I love the history behind the hotel. Parking situation isn’t the best but one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at while traveling!
