Let's start with the positives; the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was decent for a Hampton Inn, the location for the price was excellent (we were visiting to attend a baseball game in Minneapolis, and the hotel was small, so the parking lot was manageable. Where it could use some work; I've never stayed in a Hilton that hasn't given me waters with my stay. This hotel makes you choose between points and waters. I do not post negative reviews until I’ve given ample time for things to be made right, but at this point Hampton/Hilton has been given enough chances. We stay pretty exclusively with Hilton/Hampton. We are not wealthy, but do stay in hotels several nights around 1-3 times per year for work, to visit home, or for vacation. Poor lighting, tired rooms, no staff, and hot water that runs out halfway through your shower.
