Very dirty, whatever you have paid to stay here it’s too much. The place is a complete dump. There was a mouse in the bathroom and they refused to give us a refund or any kind of compensation
Should have checked the reviews, seriously shocked this shouldn’t even qualify as a Hilton hotel. Service and check in was horrendous, severely outdated interior, it’s what you would expect from a low end motel, certainly not a Hilton
Did Hilton forget about this hotel in BFE, Indiana when planning renovations? The decor, carpeting, beds, just everything seems like it’s circa 1991. And not in the good way. Strike One: Elevator was broken. Meh, my fat keister can do the stairs with all of our crap, no problemo. Strike Two: Pool looks as if it has not been cleaned since 1991. My family and I just finished a stay at the Hampton Inn Merrillville, 2 rooms for three nights. The state of the hotel is embarrassing. Dirty, in need of repairs and disgraceful to the Hilton brand. This property is absolutely atrocious and in need of repairs and uplift. The service is awful and couldn’t be bothered. The property’s elevator has been broken for while now.
